An Evening for a Cure
Backyard Benefit Concert Featuring Daoirí Farrell
May 2026 | Orange County, CA

The Cure Blau Syndrome Foundation invites you to a magical evening under the stars featuring internationally renowned Irish folk singer Daoirí Farrell, live in concert. All proceeds support our mission to fund life-changing research and provide support for families affected by Blau syndrome — a rare, autoinflammatory disease that impacts children and adults around the world.

Featuring: Daoirí Farrell
Widely hailed as “the authentic voice of Irish folk,” Daoirí Farrell has graced stages across Europe, Australia, and North America with his powerful vocals and heartfelt storytelling. This is a rare, intimate chance to experience his music up close — all in support of a life-saving cause.
Daoirí (pronounced ‘Derry’) Farrell has been described by some of the biggest names in Irish folk music as one of most important singers to come out of Ireland in recent years. His album 'True Born Irishman’ was released in October 2016. Daoirí won two BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards – Best Traditional Track and Best Newcomer – and performed with a six piece line-up at the awards ceremony at London’s Royal Albert Hall. A proud “Blau Dad” himself, Daoirí has graced stages across Europe, Australia, and North America with his powerful vocals and heartfelt storytelling. This is a rare, intimate chance to experience his music up close.
